Aishwaryan was born in Palakkad, Kerala in 1986. He received his Diploma in Painting, KEN School of Art, Bengaluru (2008) and a Post Diploma in Printmaking, Bangalore University, Bengaluru (2010).

He has been conferred with the 44th Karnataka Lalit Kala Akademi State Award (2016). He has also been the recipient of the Graphic Fellowship, Karnataka Lalit Kala Academi (2018); Kala Sanchara Travel Grant, Karnataka Lalit Kala Akademi (2017); Shenoy Art Foundation Emerging Artist Award (2016); Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation (2015); Jury Award, Chandra Ilango Visual Art Foundation (2015); K K Hebbar Art Foundation, (2015); Arnawaz Vasudev Charities Scholarship (2009 & 08); Anantica Jija Singh Foundation Scholarship (2008); Nadoja Shri R. M. Hadapad Student Scholarship (2006).

His solo project ‘The Artist’s World’, curated by Vaishnavi Ramanathan, was mounted at the Mumbai Art Room, Mumbai (2015). He has also been Artist-in-Residence at Paradise AIR, Matsudo, Japan (2020); 'Convergence', SARA Art Centre, Dombekoppa (2019); ‘The Blue Gold’, cycle 7, Piramal Art Foundation, Thane (2016); Sand Art Foundation Trust, Cholamandal Artists’ Village, Injambakkam, Chennai (2015) among others. Aishwaryan lives and works in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

His work with us is titled Cooking up a storm, an Acrylic and Indian Ink on Elephant Dung Paper, made in 2021.
