K Reghunadhan

Born in 1958 in Pulanur, Kerala, Reghunadhan completed his BFA in sculpture from College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum in 1982 and acquired his MFA form M S University, Baroda, Gujarat in 1988.  In 1991 he became the Head of the Sculpture department at Madavan Nair Foundation for Art, Edappilli, Kerala, India.

He is one of the founding members of the Indian Radical Painters and Sculptors Association involved in taking fine art to the general public through exhibitions, slide presentations, art camp, and protests agents elitist type attitudes towards fine art.

He has done various public sculpture projects like Periyar Wild life Sanctuary Thekkady and Sculpture Veli (Fence) at the Parapanagadi Beach Kerala (1996).  He has participated in many shows all through his long career. In February 2012, he did a public sculpture in granite which was sponsored by Kerala Lalit Kala Academy and District Tourism Promotion Council, Palghat.  He has participated in many important shows like ‘Lokame Tharavad’ in Kerala, in 2021. 'India Art Summit' in Delhi, in 2011. He visited Belgium for a show called 'Santhal Family' organized by MuHKA Antwerp, Belgium and curated by Grand Watson. He was part of the KHOJ International Camp, Mumbai in 2005.

He was awarded the Academy fellowship for lifetime excellence in Sculpture,

State Lalit Kala Academy, Kerala.

He lives and works from his studio in Kochi.
