Vipul Prajapati

Born in 1984 in Gujarat, Vipul is an alumnus of Sheth CN College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad & holds a Diploma in Drawing & Painting from the. Recipient of several prestigious accolades such as a grant of $10000 from The Pollock-Krasner Foundation, New York 2016, 57th National Award in Best Drawing / Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi 2016, Award in Drawing / AIFACS New Delhi 2014 to name a few.

Ever since he has passed out from the Fine Art College, Vipul has done a couple of solo shows across the country; such as “Landscapes, People and Coherence” Gallery Le Sutra, Mumbai 2012, “Veraval Express” Mantra art Gallery, Ahmedabad 2012, “On the waterfront”, Galleria Gallery, New Delhi 2011 and “In Front of Sea” at Coromandel Art Gallery, Pondicherry 2010. Vipul has been actively participating in several group shows and has attended many art fairs & art camps, both in India and abroad. He has received multiple awards from the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi for Painting.

The artist lives and works out of Ahmedabad.
